I had the opportunity to work on a site of one of the most loved snowboarder (let us not forget his skateboard reign) phenoms of all time. Not only did I get to work on the campaign, but as a team we were given complete freedom to go and just create fantastic content. From the glitchy hand-drawn look and feel of the site, to the animations and transitions between scenes, to the rogue hand out of "signed" Shaun White DVDs on the street.

After this initial launch, we were then tasked to incorporate several other X-Games giants including Mat Hoffman and Nate Adams into what became Freestyle Livin'. Keeping with the original glitchy/spastic and fun environment we had created with Shaun White, we continued to push the boundaries of the site design with custom fonts, hand drawn characters and animations, custom sound effects and other-worldly collages with photos and textures. We also eventually added in the ability to purchase certain items directly from the Target.com site.
